The National Highway No.1 passes through the district and covers. a distance
of 60 Kms. The road length available per hundred square kilometer in the
district is 80. While the road length per lakh population works out to
127 Kms.
Ludhiana district is well
connected with all other districts Hqrs. and towns in the State of Punjab,
besides, linking it with big cities in the country. Hence, it can be safely
stated that the district is well served with a good network of roads |
